Technical Requirements
What you need to use Karbeslimo
A straightforward summary of the devices, browsers, and connection speeds required to attend live sessions, follow personalized learning paths, and interact with instructors without interruption.
Core System Requirements
Every live session and self-paced module on Karbeslimo runs inside a standard browser — no dedicated software to install. The requirements below cover the realistic minimum; staying above them gives a noticeably better experience.
Operating System
Any OS released after 2016 handles everything the platform needs. Older versions may work but receive no dedicated support.
- Windows 10+
- macOS 11+
- Ubuntu 20.04+
- ChromeOS 110+
Supported Browsers
Keep your browser updated — last two major versions of each listed browser are fully supported. Safari on iOS requires version 15.4 or above for WebRTC to work properly.
- Chrome 110+
- Firefox 115+
- Edge 110+
- Safari 15.4+
Hardware Minimums
Live sessions with video use noticeably more CPU than recorded ones. A dual-core processor from 2018 or later handles both comfortably.
- 4 GB RAM
- Dual-core CPU
- 1280×720 display
- Webcam optional
Internet Connection
Self-paced modules load comfortably on 5 Mbps. Group video sessions with screen sharing work best at 15 Mbps or above. Mobile data connections are supported but wired or Wi-Fi is preferred for live sessions.
- 5 Mbps minimum
- 15 Mbps for live
Session Time Zone
All scheduled sessions display in your local time zone — the platform detects it automatically on login. You can override this from account settings at any time. Recordings are stored in UTC and converted on playback.
JavaScript and Cookies
JavaScript must be enabled — the learning interface, interactive worksheets, and live chat rely on it entirely. Session cookies are required for login persistence. Third-party cookies are not used for advertising.
A budget session cut short by a dropped connection or an unsupported browser wastes the one thing learners paid for — focused, uninterrupted time with their instructor.
Audio and Video Permissions
Live sessions use WebRTC directly in the browser. Before joining for the first time, the browser will request permission for your microphone and optionally your camera. Granting access takes one click — permissions can be reviewed or revoked in browser settings at any moment.
If a live session consistently drops or lags, running a speed test at fast.com and restarting the browser solves the issue in most cases. For persistent problems, the support team at [email protected] responds within one business day.
Mobile and Tablet Access
Karbeslimo works on phones and tablets without a dedicated app. The interface adapts to smaller screens automatically. Some interactive worksheet features are optimized for a physical keyboard — a Bluetooth keyboard on tablet makes extended sessions more comfortable.
Android
Chrome on Android 10 or later covers all live session features including video and screen share.
iPhone / iPad
Safari 15.4 or later on iOS 15.4+ handles all platform features. Screen sharing from iOS requires iOS 16.4.
Network Restrictions
Corporate or school firewalls sometimes block WebRTC ports. The IT team needs to allow UDP traffic on ports 3478 and 5349.
VPN and Accessibility
VPN use is supported but can increase latency on live sessions. Learners in regions with restricted internet access can contact support for assisted connection options.
